As we welcome October, I hope everyone in our community is enjoying the final weeks of summer and finding plenty of time to get out and enjoy the game we all love.
October is always an interesting time in Southwest Florida. While we may still have plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures, we know that the season is just around the corner. Before long, our community will begin to fill back up, friends will return, and the golf calendar will once again become a busy part of our daily lives.
Here at the golf course, we have used these summer months to prepare for the season ahead. Our team continues to work diligently to keep the course in the best possible condition while taking advantage of this time for projects, maintenance, and improvements. We appreciate your patience and understanding when you see maintenance activities taking place on the course. These efforts are an important part of providing the playing conditions we all look forward to throughout the year.
As we look toward the upcoming season, our golf staff is also preparing an exciting schedule of events, tournaments, clinics, and opportunities for golfers of all abilities. Whether you are a longtime member, a new golfer, or simply looking to get back into the game, we encourage you to take advantage of everything our golf program has to offer.
One of the things I enjoy most about golf is that it brings people together. Some days are about competition, while others are simply about spending a few hours with friends, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing a few laughs along the way. That sense of community is what makes golf such an important part of life here at our club.
