Even in the heart of the summer season when many are away traveling, the Gateway Women’s Club proved that great food and great company will always draw a crowd. A record-breaking turnout of 42 members, spouses, family, and friends gathered in Bonita Springs at C-Level for our latest Dining Out adventure. It was wonderful to welcome so many new faces to the table, and we certainly hope this is just the first of many culinary journeys together!
The moment we walked in, C-Level set a magical tone. The atmosphere transported us straight to the sea with its soothing, beautiful blue hues, complemented by stunning TV panels featuring lifelike aquarium displays. Combined with amazing, attentive service, the vibrant setting opened the door for an evening filled with lively conversations, shared laughter, and a true sense of community.
Most of our group took advantage of the fabulous prix-fixe menu, enjoying a seamless multi-course experience featuring a starter, entree, and dessert. Seafood lovers naturally gravitated toward the ocean, raving over the fresh salmon, the delicate branzino, and the popular almond encrusted grouper. Landlubbers were equally delighted, beaming over the juicy beef tenderloin and succulent pork chop. Of course, an absolute showstopper was C-Level’s famous French onion soup—a dish served with cheese so ridiculously generous that the restaurant actually provides kitchen shears just to cut through it!
We capped off the night with incredible sweet treats, including a decadent flourless chocolate torte, a light and tangy lemon mascarpone cream cake, and classic ice cream sundaes served with spoons long enough to scrape every last drop from the bottom of the glass.
By the end of the night, C-Level was buzzing with well-deserved praise. Many longtime members proclaimed it their favorite GWC Dining Out venue to date, while newcomers vowed to return again . . . and again.
At the heart of every Dining Out adventure, it is the bonds of friendship that bring us together. Gathering around the table offers an opportunity to pause, catch up on life’s moments, and connect with one another. Whether welcoming a new member or catching up with a longtime friend, these shared experiences remind us that the heart of our club is the warmth, support, and joy we bring to each other’s lives. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for such a satisfying, memorable evening—we can’t wait to see you at the next table!
