The Club at Gateway was thrilled to host the inaugural GriffinFest on Memorial Day Weekend, welcoming Members, guests, and residents from throughout the Gateway community for an evening of live music and great food.
Despite a brief passing shower and warm temperatures early in the evening, the weather soon cooperated, setting the stage for a memorable night on the Club’s driving range. Attendees enjoyed outstanding performances by Mike Imbasciani and Rock Republic, a variety of food and beverage offerings, and the opportunity to gather with friends and neighbors in a relaxed outdoor setting.
What made the evening especially rewarding was the overwhelming enthusiasm and appreciation expressed by those in attendance. From the moment the gates opened until the final song of the night, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, dancing, and a genuine sense of community.
Events like GriffinFest are only possible through the support of dedicated sponsors, and we extend our sincere gratitude to Coastal Color Painting, Kelly Roofing, Hurricane Air, Lint Out, Denny Grimes Realty, Iannone Insurance, The Brewery, Sanibel Captiva Bank, Gordon Hutton, and Yard Masters. Their partnership helped transform an exciting idea into a successful community celebration.
We would also like to recognize Dennis Myers from Rize Craft Coffee, whose vision helped inspire GriffinFest and who worked tirelessly with sponsors and event planning efforts, as well as Eddie Keidat for his leadership in organizing the event and creating and managing the GriffinFest website.
A special thank you also goes to Mike Imbasciani and Rock Republic for providing the soundtrack to a memorable evening and keeping the crowd entertained throughout the event.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended. The positive feedback, enthusiastic participation, and community spirit demonstrated throughout the evening made the event a tremendous success.
