Exploring the world, one dish at a time, the Gateway Women’s Club members and guests recently expanded their culinary adventures to Ginger Bistro. Located in a strip mall on U.S. 41 in Fort Myers, Ginger Bistro is a hidden gem that entices the palate with authentic Chinese cuisine.
A journey of a thousand flavors begins with a single bite, and Chinese food is no exception. The unique cuisine perfectly blends a variety of flavors from spicy to sweet, and savory to sour, ensuring that there is something for everyone
The Gateway Women’s Club members and guests enjoyed many of Ginger Bistro’s menu items, including a variety of dim sum dumplings, pan-fried noodles with savory sauces, stir-fried meats and veggies, and fan favorite walnut shrimp.
The evening ended on a sweet note, quite literally, as fortune cookies were distributed to each of the diners. Who can resist a little wisdom from a crisp, sweet treat?
Above and beyond the flavorful foods and promising and whimsical “fortunes,” the evening highlighted that a meal shared is a moment cherished. Gathering around the dinner table brings friends together to laugh a little and share a connection until we journey to our next culinary adventure.
