The Gateway Women’s Club hosted a shoe drive from September 7 until November 7, 2025, where they teamed up with Funds2Org and collected slightly used, worn or new shoes that would be donated to undeveloped nations to help them support their families.

HELP PACK THE TRUCK

The Gateway Women’s Club sought the help of neighboring communities, The Club at Gateway and Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church along with Heritage Palms to help collect these shoes. In the two months that this drive took place the Gateway Women’s Club goal was to collect 100 bags of slightly worn shoes. The drive ended on Friday, November 7, and the Women’s Club would like to thank everyone who participated in our shoe drive and helped us keep the landfill empty of shoes and helped families to be able to support themselves. The Gateway Women’s Club was able to collect 139 bags of slightly used shoes which equate to 3,475 pairs of shoes. Again, thank you for all the donations, The Gateway Women’s Club really appreciates your support, and this money will definitely help out our charities.
