The Cottages is another charming neighborhood tucked-away inside the broader Gateway Greens subdivision. Like every neighborhood, the people within it are its heart. Neighbors become friends and connect at least biannually in their own private cul-de-sac. They enjoy the conversations, catching up on each other’s lives while sharing food, drinks and enjoying music!
It’s one thing to live in a neighborhood – but it’s another thing to actually “be” a neighborhood. The Cottages fits that bill! They look out for each other, and are aware of health challenges so that they can support those in need with meals or just extending a hand to provide for any needs. New residents are welcomed to make certain they know and feel comfortable with the great community available to them. The Cottages neighborhood board is actively involved, ensuring that the services they offer are relevant and what the residents want and need. A change in their landscape provider became necessary as their previous vendor did not meet their standards. Each member of the board participated in interviewing several companies and then selecting a replacement. The changes they’ve made and the results achieved have already made a huge difference, including the addition of a new service: monthly wet checks for the irrigation systems. The irrigation systems are now repaired and operating effectively. The volunteer board members take their jobs seriously, and are much appreciated
